Ivellios wandered through the streets of the half destroyed city, arriving at his destination: the magic shop.  He was hoping to be able to buy cursed magical items from the shop, as this particular magic shop was known to carry the rarest items in the country.  What he found when he arrived at the shop, however, was a half destroyed building that had been completely looted - a result of the city having been previously taken over by their enemies in Tarsus.  The city was in shambles, very little rebuilding was happening because of the lack of able people in the city, most of them were in Tarsus fighting.

Turning around, Ivellios went back to the Crystal Castle to speak with the King, Tir.  The Elven King met Ivellios in one of the gardens outside of his castle.  After a discussion, where Ivellios asked the King for cursed magic items, the King determined that it was not a good idea to give them up without a specific reason for it.  Ivellios decided to abandon the quest he had previously been given at this point, and decided to return to his grove.  The King seemed concerned that their chance to turn the tides of war would fail without the adventurers help. He then professed that he would look for someone else to complete the task of retrieving the sword from Mount Valorn, to destroy the demon Vetis - since it seemed that the adventurers would not.

Leaving the Castle, Ivellios ran straight into the Hermit (that strange smelly old Wizard).  The Hermit scolded Ivellios for abandoning the quest - he seemed extremely concerned for some reason.  The Hermit only came out from hiding at specific times (no one knew why), to advise certain heros throughout time.  The fact that Ivellios was abandoning a quest that he had told him to go on, seemed to make him more than unhappy.  He told Ivellios to come seek him out when he had "gained some good sense."

Ivellios returned to his grove (in the Northern part of the Nemorian Woods), he found that all of his followers had been sitting there bored.  With all of the fighting in the North and the attacks within the cities throughout Kaza Tir's countryside, his followers had begun to feel slightly useless sitting in the grove.  The Half-Giant Gladiators complained that they wanted to seek glory in combat, with all that was going on.  Ivellios decided to seek out his old friend - The Sorcerer - who he knew could create a teleportation circle for his followers to be transfered into battle.

Meanwhile... Thokk was still in the Capital City, wandering the streets of Kaza Tir.  Thokk, still being thanked by the people as he walked through the streets, encountered an Elf.  The Elf said that he had come from Stalkbrow (a Barony in the Nemorian Woods, run by Elves).  He had come with a gift for Thokk, a special bow that they had made for him, in thanks of saving the King.  It was the hope of the Elves from Stalkbrow that Thokk would be able to use this weapon to assist himself and his comrades in adventures to help the kingdom.  The bow he had been given was a Mighty Composite Longbow... but bigger, since this one was meant to be wielded by Half Giants.  A helmet came with the bow, it was a metal cap with decorative wings displayed above a face shield.  The face shield of the helmet contained two slits where the user looked out from.  When activated, the wearer could use the helmet to see at a greater distance than normal.  The Nemorian bow could shoot many times farther than an average bow - in combination with this helmet, the user could fire at foes from a great distance.

Later that day, Thokk was suddenly contacted by Zoron (who had a telepathic link with him).  Zoron had been wandering a bazar that had been set up in the city, tents that the people were selling things from to survive and to keep life going amidst all of the destruction.  It was there that Zoron had run into someone who was looking for Thokk.  Word of Thokk's great power and heroism had been heard of throughout the lands, especially after he had united the Barbarian Nation's tribes to help fight against Tarsus (and not to mention the rescue of the King he and his companions had achieved).  It was through this recognition that a Half Elf warrior had heard of him - she had come to seek him out; she wished to follow him and wanted to be the queen of whatever empire he lead.

Zoron met Thokk near the front of the Crystal Castle and brough the Half Elf with him. Zoron, though a dragon, was shape shifted into the form of a human to disguise himself from most people... though his shadow still revealed that he was a dragon if someone looked at it.  The Half-Elf noticed this about him though she did not speak about it as she walked behind him toward Thokk.   She introduced herself as Illandria, she was a powerful Arcane Archer (combining archery and magic to be used together) - a very good looking Half Elf too.  Thokk accepted her as a follower... though wasn't so sure about her being a queen to his barony.

After a brief side trek to Loque's Keep in Mount Darokin (where Ivellios had fun stirring up people in a bar at the Keep, with the use of a magical liquor) Ivellios returned to the grove with The Sorcerer and some of Loques followers (who were keeping an eye on The Sorcerer). There, they met up with Thokk, Zoron and Illandria.  After some discussion with Ivellios' followers, they all determined that they the best course of action for their small-time militia to take, was to seek out a band of evil orcs within the Nemorian woods, that had been causing trouble and distracting efforts for help in the war.  Everyone gathered and began forming small groups that would go out to find various dungeons that were hidden in the woods, where the orcs were.  Each group was to infiltrate and destroy the orcs throughout each dungeon.  Ivellios and Thokk sought help from the Elves in Stalkbrow (an elven Barony in the Nemorian Woods), they agreed to assist with what men they could spare.

That eve in the grove, they had a celebration.  Ivellios and Illandira used their skills with magic to create a show for all of the people in the grove.  The entire grove watched as Ivellios stole the show with his creative use of combining different magical skills together.

Ivellios had been contemplating on how he could gain deity ranks,  powers that mortals could gain that were leaning into the steps toward god-hood and Immortality - while remaining mortal.  He had been thinking about it since he had battled the dark Druid Darbek who had displayed powers like this.  Someone in his grove mentioned to him that he had recently learned that such a power was known to exist somewhere in Mount Valorn ... mysteriously the source the person had learned the information from disappeared afterward, never to be seen again.  Ivellios began to reconsider whether to take on the quest of climbing Mount Valorn, to seek audience with the great Immortal IO - the only one who could grant him such information as to the whereabouts to such powers.
